My favorite thing about is the people it draws into the door.

It attracts the dreamers — those with big resumes and even bigger plans.

People like .blatt who knows more about fundraising than anyone I know.

We talked late into the night as I filled a notebook with ideas, quotes, roadmaps, and to-do items.

’s vision is to amplify the voices of those who change their world for good. If you’re a world-changing do-gooder, there’s always room at the table for you.

P.S.: Anric has an incredible live event coming up in a few weeks. It’s a unique opportunity to learn from the best while connecting with like-minded people. You don’t want to miss it!

This afternoon we had a client tell us the campaign we created resulted in the most leads they’ve ever had in a single month.

And this morning, we were slinging confetti with the Sparkle Boss at .

We’ve figured out how to make our clients serious money while not being very serious at all. And that’s our secret formula.

Which begs the question: is you video production vendor making you money while making it fun?

If not, I know a guy who can help.

There are only two celebrities with whom I want to collaborate on a video project. One is Alton Brown. You’ll probably never guess the second.

One of my favorite moments in life is seeing a concept that was turned into a script come to life through an actor’s performance. That feeling never gets old even after all these years of Directing.

I’ve learned a lot of tricks over the years to help actors find the right emotional beats. One of the most important is to describe their character outside of the moment we’re filming. For instance: this script calls for a guy to walk in and throw his keys on the coffee table. We spent time talking about where he was coming from, his mindset, and what he was about to do next.

Enrique was a pleasure to work with. I hope it happens again!

Being the CEO of a company that has grown 3x in employees and revenue can be overwhelming.

Companies naturally have deadlines, emergencies, projections, and other disruptive activities. If you don’t have pre-planned and blocked out times for certain key activities you’ll always be at the mercy of the emergency of the day. And as I’m sure we all know, every day has an emergency!

One practice I’ve learned to do consistently to keep our team on track is rhythms.

Some of the rhythms we have in our company are:

1. Monday meetings lasting an hour that set goals for the week.

2. Daily stand-up meeting lasting 15 minutes that set our daily tasks.

3. Quarterly off-site meetings that last the entire day for planning for the entire company (as well as an afternoon of fun).

And one I added this year that I’m on today is I reserve 2 days to work off site for planning and to do deep creative work.

Every company’s rhythms should be unique to your culture and how you serve your community. But no matter what you do, make rhythms that stick.

Do you have rhythms you practice? Please share! I would love to learn from you.

A few stills from yesterday’s shoot. The sunlight in the first picture is completely fake. We set up a very bright .lighting 600d outside the window to give the illusion of the sun.

Every other Friday the team at has something we call “9/8c day”. It’s a big part of our culture. We eat together, we work on projects that are focused on promoting and growing our company, and we laugh a lot.

The result is we grow closer as a team while doing the work to make our company stronger. I look forward to every one!

Filming food is one of my favorite things. There’s something zen-like to making sure everything is perfect. You can obsess over every scene more than most projects.

I’m always grateful that God brings work our way. When it looks good enough to eat, that’s even better.

Huge thank you to and for letting us use their kitchen and conference room!
