Recently had the pleasure of working with The "Reverend" Nelson Sheppard. I worked on this record with my buddy Jesse Tiamson and his band IDA BAY awhile ago and they've finally gotten around to releasing it. I'm glad they went with a video for this track, it was my favorite cut on the record. Congrats guys!

I've worked on 3 different records with Devin and this has to be my favorite song we've done so far. I love it when I get to work on songs that inspire me to create theatrical style music production. Devin Sinha allowed me to just do my thing with this one.... then he and Sam went and did it big for the video. The quality is insane and the visuals are stunning. Well, it's the end of an era....The old trailer that used to scare people on their way to the studio has been demolished. I will miss the uneasiness that people would have when they first pulled up to the property with this being the first thing they saw...good times. The good news is that we now own that side of the property and we'll see what the future brings as we make our way over there and begin dreaming up what the next studio will look like......Thanks to all of you that have been recording here over the years and helping me grow this place one song at a time.

Last week, Kevin Stiles was in the studio doing some guitar and pedal steel work for Tyler Gahn's new record. It's rare to see one of these amps come through...this is the first in the 17 years I've been running this place. Clean tone doesn't get much better than a Matchless amp! Finding the sweet spots via a pair of Dynamounts i.e. Skynet.
