ARTC'S VIDEO FOR ATLANTIC CITY BALLET'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY GALA! ACB celebrated its 40th Anniversary Saturday night with a Gala/Fundraiser at Caesar's Ballroom in AC. Unfortunately due to prior commitments, ArtC couldn't be there but our 3 minute video we created for it was (watch here) & we heard it was a big hit. NEW AHA! VIDEO. ARTIST VALERIA MARCUS ON PAINTER & ATLANTIC CITY NATIVE JACOB LAWRENCE. Yes, we are a little late bringing this to you for Black History Month but trust me, it is worth waiting for. I first learned of Jacob Lawrence's work through Valeria & I became an immediate fan. The fact that he was born in Atlantic City peaked my interest even more. Valeria is a talented artist who is also a great art historian. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you Valeria for sharing your insights. Video by ArtC.
