Prelude to the Nationals payout update:

If you left the track yesterday with out payout and awards due to the rain storm - please see Kelli Severns at registration tonight in Galesburg.

Kelli will get you squared away - if you won’t be in attendance tonight - we will get checks mailed out after the weekend.

Thank you all for your understanding and for being a part of the Joe Baggott memorial.

ATTENTION RACERS: we understand that due to the weather circumstances some of you were in a hurry to get out of dodge. For anyone that missed payout - payouts will be handed out at Galesburg Saturday night. For those not attending Galesburg, we will obtain your address and mail out your checks and awards. We thank you for your understanding and for being part of the Joe Baggott Memorial.

Big announcement!!!

The Prelude to the Nationals have named Stacey and Jeff Doerr of Country Saloon as Grand Marshalls for our July 28th Joe Baggott Memorial Race at Peoria Speedway

Stacey and Jeff have been long time enthusiasts and supporters of both racing and Peoria area communities. It’s an honor to name them this years Grand Marshalls.

Be sure to be at the Kick Off Party Thursday night starting at 6pm for food, fun, bench racing and cold drinks.

Kyle Snyder Racing has come on board to sponsor the PW50 shaft class for the 2nd installment of the Joe Baggot Memorial Prelude to the Nationals on Friday, July 28th. A 250$ purse consisting of gift cards for the top three finishers will see the winner take home a 125$ pre paid debit card, second 75$ and third place taking home 50$ for their efforts. So what is an Astro???? Originally built in the mid 1970’s by Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Bultaco as purpose build flat trackers. Today they are classified as a vintage bike, but these 360cc races machines are still capable of running lap times just as fast as modern bikes.
