This digging game is getting awesome. I put a particle effect for your dig path, and edges of the dirt you dig are roughed up so it's less 2D blocky. Now I'm going to start on the character design and animation. The character is going to be A WORM, and your goal will be to dig down as far as possible, gathering minerals and supplies to upgrade your equipment! I'm super stoked on this game!

The start of a procedurally generated mining map for a new game I'm making where your aim is to dig to the center of the planet, gathering minerals and items to upgrade your mining device along the way! I'm really stoked about this concept. Can't decide if the player should drive a machine, or if they should control like a creature or something.. any ideas?!
