Despite the fact that we are all out here chasing the "social media algorithms', know that it doesn't really exist!

In fact, what you think is this one amorphous unknown system that controls whether you go viral or not is really but ONE of thousands of mathematical formulas that social media platforms implore to determine how to deliver content to audiences!

So... know that the formula that determines whether you show up on the HOME feed differs from the one that decides the browse feed and the recommended feed and so on!

It would take forever to figure them each out but some of us are trying!

Anyone who produces long form content on platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram know that the key to geting more views and subs is high video viewer retention.

I mean, the longer someone can stay on your content watching and consume a significant portion of it, the higher the liklihood the algorithms will possibly consider your content satisfying and start pushing it out to others, inlcuding peole who are not subscribers or followers. That's the key to growth.
