About Us

LLhoops.com has been a source for information on the Lancaster-Lebanon League since 2000. We are entering our 18th year of digital coverage of the LL.

LLhoops has been recognized by various sources as credentialed media covering PA High School hoops (Lancaster – Lebanon League, District 3 PIAA, PA PIAA, and has been involved in selection of the ALL PA teams). Our online presence continues to grow as we consistently have over 100k unique followers plus many, many returneesJ. All of our writers twitter accounts continue to increase every year.

LLhoops is the brainchild of Dell Jackson. Jackson coached (Penn Manor/Donegal) and played in the LL (Annville-Cleona ‘75). LLhoops was the first local site to post scores online on game day, posting digital picts (Dave Porter), updating standings, keeping and posting LL averages online (Tom Boyd), posting rankings both PA State and District 3 of the PIAA (Jerry Shenk), posting players of various decades (Dell , Jerry and various media/coaches), pre-LL info (Jerry) and keeping an accurate history of the LL-playoffs (Jerry Shenk/Dell- Archive).

LLhoops continues to evolve. We have embedded our recent twitter account (@llhoops) to bring you game updates and re-tweets from fans/followers on game day. Our online interviews are a hit with our followers. Jon k (@LLHoopsNEPbeat) brings us second-to-none coverage of the Neastern part of PA. Curtis Watkins adds a southern touch to LLhoops as he updates the Delaware beat (rankings of teams and players). Our newest writer, Andy Herr, gives us a younger perspective and a reputation for going ALL over the LL . He has twice covered EACH team in the LL, and we’re sure he will achieve that goal this season. ‘Andy’s Take’ features wraps of the games he has seen the previous week. His use of twitter (@AndyBrackets) is enjoyed by many. Kirk Neidermyer (@KirkNeidermyer) brings us outstanding game shots and web design. In 2017-18 LLhoops will welcome Bruce Bagley as he brings us a new feature – Berks Beat. Bruce (@BruceBadgley) will add video links to our site as well as connecting with Berks County.
