"Caroline Neal founded Worthdays in 2015 after she paused her career as a social worker to become a stay-at-home mom. She knows the foster system well, including its limitations. In a given month, there are more than 5,000 children having contact with the foster care system in Virginia, and not all of them have someone in their lives who will be able to celebrate a birthday, holiday, or graduation with them. While many children have stable foster families, others sit in group homes or treatment centers wishing someone would reach out."
