Kung Fu Slayers feature film
Casting Notice/ Crew Notice
Shooting dates: 6/21 to 7/3 in Missoula and Hamilton, Montana.
7/10-7/15 in LA if needed
MT Crew needed:
HMU/SFX assistant. Will need to work as a Missoula-area local.
1st AD: Should have action feature film experience. Must work as a Missoula local.
Sound Mixer: Must work as a Missoula local.
Grip / Lighting asst.
Production Assistants LOCALS only.
Cast needed (Prefer Missoula locals or work as local):
SEVERAL STUNT FEATURED EXTRAS/PLAYERS: ALL AGES/Ethnicities. Preferably with martial arts experience.
GAVIN: 10-15 years old, is Tony’s son with Susie. At the beginning of the film he is going through an “identity crisis” not knowing if he will be a vampire or not. After his abduction, being turned into a vamp and subsequent rescue, he has to re-learn English and re-learn to love his father and mother. Several MANDARIN lines, some light fight scenes too.
JIM: 30-45, White. Tony’s best friend. Fights against Pastor Robert, then against Mr. Ma and his goons. His comic sidekick nature helps get him out of many tough situations. He’s also a good fighter though, and can hold his own. Character has many scenes and lines (Mandarin included). Must have some martial arts ability.
SUSIE: 23-40, White…Tony’s ex-girlfriend. They have a son together, Gavin. She is beautiful and tough. After the battle with Elvira becomes a ghost that “haunts” Tony. Must be able to learn some Mandarin lines. Some light fight sequences.
ELVIRA, 25-40… Asian/Mixed/Native… Mr. Ma’s wife/lover. She emerges at the beginning of the movie to collect Mr. Ma’s ashes and resurrect him. She is stealthy, cunning, sultry, irresistible. Pivotal role. Fights/ wounds the lead, Susie. Implied nudity in opening scene. Requires fight scenes + Mandarin lines.
Diesel: 30-40, Asian/ Native, a tough street fighting vampire. He/She is loyal to Mr. Ma and will carry out any of his orders. Several fight scenes.
STEVEN STEINBURG, 35-60, White. Hollywood director who is producing “Mandarin Kings” with Tony. Gets turned into a Chinese Speaking Vampire. One fight scene. MUST be able to learn some Mandarin.
FREDDY, 25-40s, Hispanic /Native /White , Employee of Tony’s. Rescued by Tony in the construction site scene. He ends up helping Tony and team fight the vampires in the final battle scene. Several scenes, one fight scene, several lines.
HANK, 25-45, White/Native/Hispanic. Bad-boy type. Gets in a fight with Tony. He gets attacked and turned into a vamp. Then he obediently helps Mr. Ma’s crew kidnap Tony’s son Gavin. Several fight scenes.
Vamp 1, 20-45. Asian/Native/Mixed ...Mr. Ma’s main assistant. Several fight scenes. A few lines.
