Geddai Valley. Nilgiri. Tamilnadu

Geddai Valley View Point is located in Kundah near Ooty Hill Station in Nilgiris District of Tamilnadu. This is a great place to enjoy the misty hills and tea plantation. If you plan to visit the area, please keep food & water since there are not much shops after Manjur. There is no parking space but the road is not busy so parking won't be an issue. Please remember there is not much to see except the misty hills and tea plantation. This is an ideal place to take short break on the way to Kinnakorai. Lots of Jacaranda trees dots the way, during summer time whole tree turn into blue colour.

Kodaikanal is a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest. Rowing boats can be hired, and hikers and cyclists follow the 5k Lake Road path around the shore.

Murud, Janjira Fort, Raigad, Maharashtra, India

Nestled on a picturesque island off of the sleepy coastal village of Murud, the majestic Murud Janjira fort is a wonderful depiction of the royal past. The blue stretch of water surrounding the island that houses the fort makes for a delightful sight. The fort is situated at a distance of 55 km from Alibag in Maharashtra.

Murud Janjira Fort, like almost every fort in India, has been attacked by various forces such as the Portuguese, Marathas, and the British. Despite the intensity of attacks and vagaries of time, many bastions of the fort still remain undestroyed and undefeated, playing their role as the remnant of the days bygone.
