Blueberry Season Opens at Murphy's Blueberry Farm
Charlie and Deb Murphy purchased their property in 1998 and found a few blueberry bushes – which piqued their interest. They purchased a few books and attended some classes at Penn State & Cornell University where they learned of the health benefits and nutritional value of blueberries.
Over the year they have planted more bushes, and today, they have close to 4,000 bushes in total. Along with blueberry-based products in their shop, you can pick your own blueberries, and purchase ready picked or frozen berries. They even have blueberry bushes available to purchase.
Follow daily crop updates & field conditions on FB at Murphy’s Blueberry Farm Mansfield, PA, go to murphysblueberryfarm.com or call 570-404-0020. They are typically open through August 10th. Their hours of operation include:

This trail, which starts in town, is set to open officially in July! Stay tuned for the grand opening details, and let’s plan to celebrate this thrilling addition to our outdoor activities together!
Join us in celebrating the bridges on the trail – capturing history for years to come! The bridge Linda and I talked about on this broadcast is from Chester County, dating back to 1879.
We will cross this bridge to access the extension in the future.
Some of us enjoyed riding the passenger train to Ives Run in the past. I enjoyed time with my grandsons when they were little. That train no longer runs, but we can ride on the trail where the tracks used to be! It was built in 1854 by Fall Brook Railway. All of the bridges have been restored, so we can literally ride on the railway! (NO TRACKS)
You can enter the drawing to win Linda’s framed photo of the Cedar Run Bridge by commenting on this particular page about the age of the new bridge from Chester County that Linda, and I talked about on this broadcast or emailing me your answer at [email protected].

From Sumatra to Java to...Hospital - Andrew's Journey Ends
This is the final video documenting my visit to Indonesia. Our last week in the country was spent visiting areas of Sumatra, including Cinta Damai, Lake Toba, and Samosir before departing from Jakarta on the island of Java.
It was truly a blessing and honor to meet my friend Gio’s family and have dinner with them. They so graciously demonstrated the kindness and generosity of Indonesia.
Sadly, my last few days in the country were spent recovering from dysentery, but the hospital staff in Jakarta, alongside my mom and Gio, took great care of me. I thank God I was surrounded by incredible people, and I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity.
