Looking for some one to w**d eat

Our hearts are so broken as we share the news about sweet Remeny.

Early this morning we took her to the vet for a post op check up and it was found that her surgical sites were not healing as they should..we ran blood work and her levels were all over the place and her blood was clumping almost instantly. She was immediately hospitalized and the team began doing what they could to try to regulate her levels but moments ago we got the call that we feared…she was declining fast and we didn’t want her to suffer. We are devastated but knew letting her go was the selfless call to make.

We wish there was more we could have done for this sweet girl but we are thankful her final days were surrounded by love and warmth. Run free across the rainbow bridge sweet girl 🌈💔

Yes, my beautiful girl, our beloved Matilda, passed away early this afternoon. She died so, so, so peacefully. For 16 hours before her spirit flew, we curled up together on piles of soft blankets. We held paws and we held gazes. We just looked and looked and looked, so deeply. She had all the sparkle she’d always had. Her bright, caring eyes. She smiled as I kissed her over and over and said all the things I wanted to be sure she knew. She held my face in her eyes, with so much love, up until her very last breath.

I made a memorial for her, and she lay circled in pink and yellow flowers while I kissed her more and said the words again I wanted to be sure she knew.

Thank you for loving her.

I will spend a lot of time reading your messages, with so much gratitude.
