Today was so special. 🌿

Nancy Martin had been diagnosed with cancer this past year after losing her job to covid. Being diagnosed with cancer has also put many restrictions on her finding a place of employment where her health would not be compromised.

Every month she found a way to her local Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses store to make small payments on her furniture layaway.

This is the moment her story was heard.

After hearing Nancy's story, we took it to our private group and asked if anyone would be willing to help us pay off her layaway.

This is where the kindness set in. ❤

So many group members donated to Nancy's layaway fund allowing us to pay off her layaway along with purchasing a $100.00 gift card toward a rug that she was interested in. Nancy will also receive a Strong Women Project Photo Session by Aya Photographs valued at $350.00.

Nancy had taken care of many people in her lifetime and it is her turn for that type of kindness to be returned.

We are so thankful to our members for helping us achieve this goal. Hearing her smile through the phone really made this the most rewarding part.

We are sending Nancy all of the healing vibes we can find. It was a true honor to be able to help such a loving, strong woman.

You never know when someone is listening or where the next act of kindness is going to come from. All it takes is one caring human to help another human. 🌹

This past Monday Aya Photographs photographed women ages 40 and up. Celebrating International Women's day, while we took portraits for a purpose was a great way to celebrate the beauty of women and to prove that age simply does not make us appear old and ugly... it simply humbles us to see our own beauty.
Photographing women and their stories is a true passion of ours.
The passion was much deeper when my mom stepped in front of our view and it was more clear to me how important this event was. Not only to the women in front of the camera, but to us, their loved ones.

I'm so grateful she came to our event and even more grateful I will have this beautiful memory and this eloquent artwork to display in my home forever.

Yesterday was International Women's day! But isn't everyday!?

We had our first over 40 event with Aya Photographs at The Grand Bank and the experience we had with these women was a beautiful revelation of strength and power.

We photographed women celebrating their 40's up to their 70's!!
A huge thank you to the women who put themselves first yesterday and celebrated their beauty! Many thanks to Ashlee for your unwavering hospitality as always!

Happy International Women's day! Today we are kicking off our over 40 campaign with a fun mini photo session at The Grand Bank!

🌹To extend our gratitude and in celebration of Women's Day, we are offering (5) $350 Vouchers for Our over 40 campaign. This covers her photo session and it is a full session!
