Thank God for coffee. Because without coffee I would not make it throughout the day and I'm just being honest. After being woken up at 2:12 in the morning by a neighbor who wanted to watch Jack Ryan which is on Prime I don't watching it. But at 2:30 in the morning way too early. I was trying to be kind to this neighbor by not applying the sign I put on my door if you remember a couple weeks ago I told him that that sign was for The Neighbors who were constantly knocking on my door or different things that they wanted and at that time did not apply to him. But after today I let him know he's going to have to find elsewhere to watch that show because I'm applying the same treatment to the sign that I put on my door to him. If I can afford Prime once a month payment comes out of my checking which I don't mind but if I can do that he can do that as well. I told him I had to work today since last night and he still woke me up at 2:12 in the morning. Plus tomorrow night instead of watching the debate which I hope I watch I'm going to be getting a sleep study meaning having to go to the hospital and stay overnight so they can monitor my sleep apnea condition it's been over almost 2 years without my machine which I know I need but let's see what happens tomorrow night and hopefully my neighbor understands by me applying the same treatment to him it's not that I don't care about him anymore but I got to take care of myself first of all something that I don't know if he's done for yourself but at this point sorry to say this don't care just taking care of myself first of all hopefully I make it through this day.

People might be asking why am I awake so early and here's my direct answer. When you have a deeper that wakes you up at 2:12 in the morning just because they can't sleep and they want to watch a show on Prime because they can't sleep and they know you have Prime and you clearly told them that you would watch it with them setting your own time to watch it but they call you early did that expected time it's really messed up and this is the stuff I got to deal with and I've had to deal with for the last 10 years. As I get older I'm not going to deal with this mess I'm just going to have to take action to take care of myself and not have to deal with this mess

I have been blessed by the best to have two amazing jobs that I love so much. Fiscal year here I come and I am ready for all the work that is coming because it's time to get to work.

Still going to be working on epilepsy awareness throughout the state of Illinois because until everyone knows about epilepsy awareness and is educated about epilepsy and a different types I won't stop.

I have been working with wise for a number of years it seems like and I so appreciate it and I am honored to continue to work this year coming up or should I say this fiscal year coming up it's all about social media well technically it's not just all about social media but in some way it is well to see how it goes. Just wanted to let everyone know I am excited for the great opportunity to be working along with amazing people that have taught me so much about interviewing and also how to work with social media throughout my platforms. I have been saying that my podcast is soon going to be up but the reality is it's not yet going to be up until I get back to work. Oh my social media will be monitored by me and the people I work with in Washington State because of the work I do around people with intellectual and developmental disabilities I want to be able to give the best of the best. With this I also want to say the following

Wise I want to extend the invitation to you all come to Chicago and check it out let's interview and get into good trouble along the way as we interview people with intellectual and developmental disabilities hope you all can come to Chicago I would love it if you did

Today I learned more about the merger of Southside together organizing for power and the organization Nami we. I wasn't too thrilled to find out about this merger but in having conversations today and getting to know this amazing organization and the work they are doing in South Shore the time is now. I am more convinced that this merger should take place especially when the amount of displacement of communities are taking place from Woodlawn all the way to South Shore people are being displaced every single day from their homes and their communities. It's not just about displacements but the amount of reach that the new organization will have will be incredible. The merger hasn't taken place yet this was just one of many spaces of conversation to continue the dialogue and start the communication or continue the communication can't wait to see all the amazing work that will take place among other things and can't wait to see all the creation of new employment within the organization with the amount of reach that this new organization will have more people will have to be hired can't wait to see and as a member today I just went to give my vote of confidence even though voting wasn't taking place today went to show my support and find out more of this organization that work in South Shore

I love using this feature that allows people to get notified of events or something important that I am posting. Not everything that I'm posting is of importance maybe not to everyone but maybe it is to me. This feature should only be used when having an event or when you're trying to get the word out about something that's going on or of that should be of concern to everyone. I normally don't use this feature because I don't want to abuse the privilege of having this feature on and the fact that not everything should be highlighted but I'm just doing this as an explanation to those who use it and abuse it for every post that they have which is not cool because people won't take you seriously when you have just posted every single time instead of using it the right way.

Good morning everyone I hope you have a great Saturday and make the most out of it. As for me getting ready to head out to two huge meetings. The first one is about a merger of organizations and the second one is a community benefit agreement summit . The best part about all this is that it will be taken place all in the same place. It's going to be a long day but I am ready for it. The good thing is it's all going to be indoors. Not going to be exposing myself to this extremely hot weather. May the Lord care the Comfort to the family of this 7 year old who got shot and killed. We keep losing young people or should I say young lives every single day because people don't know how to practice common sense and either don't know how to control their anger or too many a weapons in the street of Chicago. I said it at the beginning of Summer that as soon as the warm weather hits things or going to be a mess and look at where we are right now. And we're going to continue losing lives in these streets of Chicago unless something drastically is done. I just heard this Friday there is going to be a March on the west side I believe and remembrance of the five year old who lost his life. If weather permits hoping to be there. This is just too much. One life two lives three lives I don't care the number one life itself is way too much. We shouldn't be losing young lives to this gun violence but unfortunately for some people it has become a norm here in Chicago. For me it's never normal to lose a young life. My heart breaks for this family and I hope they get the Comfort they need but also most of all I hope they get the Justice they need.

Good morning everyone hope you have a great day today and get out please get out and enjoy this day it's going to be a little bit warm outside close to 90°, at least you're in Chicago. That's exactly what I plan to do today is to get out and enjoy this nice weather. Going to access living for a DRACH Meeting/picture day . If you are one of those people who has one of these t-shirts come out today to our meeting from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. I hear afterwards that's going to be pasta and pizza which is great. Just in case you're asking no there is no shirts that are going to be giving there this is just an old t-shirt the organizer asked us to wear our old t-shirt just for today to take a picture. Can't wait for the new ones to show up soon they are going to be much different than this one

Good morning everyone happy Tuesday hope you have a wonderful day today and be safe. As for me today I will be going to the farmers market at Federal Plaza in downtown I may or may not decide to go live just to show you how it works and all the amazing food that you can buy at the Farmers Market. The weather is about to get nice and it's time to get out there and look at the different resources in your community. Not only do they accept the government benefits for those who receive it but they also take cash and debit. I guess the only reason I am talking more about the farmers markets it's because I've been going to them lately and they are really amazing. Another way of thinking of this. If you are like me who don't like paying hi Jack tax that Chicago has in grocery stores this is the perfect way of avoiding it.

I've been talking about this for quite a while And now this month it's finally going to happen.
I am bringing back my lives here on Facebook but also other platforms. Hopefully I will be able to maintain it and keep it going. With your help and others hopefully this can be a success. Some will be short videos and some will be long conversational videos but also random and sometimes going alive the hope with this is not only to promote the work that I do or to talk about people with disabilities and the stories that they have to tell but much more that I cannot talk about right now because it is in the planning stages just be ready.

I love shopping at the Farmers Market people if you haven't gone to a farmers market and you got government assistance like link you are not spending it well. I strongly recommend visit your Farmers Market in your neighborhood. At the farmers market not only you're helping your community but you're helping farmers who come out of other communities to come sell there in your community and if you got link they double the amount you have on there. Yesterday I went to the Rogers Park Farmers Market it was amazing lots of vendors and I got to spend my benefits well spent. I only spent $20 out of my link and in return the people at the Farmers Market gave me back $40 meaning the $20 that I exchanged with them I got it back plus another $20 to spend it's amazing and out of all the food that I bought there look what I'm making today and my slow cooker I am cooking up some chicken and on my pot I am cooking up some vegetables with rice

I made the decision this week and I'm going to act on it. Starting next week I will be going to the gym. A couple hours every other day to start off with and lose some weight. I want to be healthy and I want to live longer. So if there are days that I go to the gym and I'm not available you know why.
