Hey friends, how's everyone doing? I'd be lying if I said I'm not ready for school to start (The kids are excited too!) It's been a challenge trying to grow a new business during a pandemic with my two toddlers in tow. Most of my days are spent "momming" and working when time allows... early mornings, late nights and the much anticipated nap time! When this is all over, I hope I reflect on all the extra snuggles and time spent with all three of my kids.

With our schedule returning to a little bit of normalcy, I'm looking to take on more work. I've not posted much lately, but been working over here...just with some obstacles to overcome 😊 I look forward to sharing some projects I've had the pleasure to work on soon. It's been a mix of emotions...while I'm grateful for more time with my kids, I'm beyond ready for school to start in August and patiently await the announcement of summer camps 🙌 Hang in there friends!

I implemented most of these tips when I started my own business working from home (does workout clothes count as getting ready? 🙃) As many of us navigate a "new normal", be sure to check out these tips for a smooth transition.

If you're like me, you're juggling so many things...work, home school, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, tending to the MANY needs of children...list goes on.

Working at home with young children is TOUGH! Damn near impossible, really. I'm learning I have to work when I can and give myself grace when days don't go as planned.

If your schedule allows....start your work day early (before the kids wake up), work during naps, work after they go to bed....and remember to take time for yourself. Do your best. Some days will be more productive than others...you have to learn to be "okay" with that. Some days maybe you won't work at all. You have to be "okay" with that too...tomorrow is another day.

Coffee and cocktails help, obviously. ☕️☕️☕️☕️🍻🍺🍷🍹

I definitely don't have it all figured out, TRUST ME. But I wanted to share some solid tips for those not used to working at home.

I'm enjoying this "slow down", but looking forward to getting back to our old routine. Hang in there friends! 💪
