This is how deep the world's deepest lake actually is. Located in Siberia, Russia, Lake Baikal has a maximum depth of 1,642 meters (5,387 feet) and a volume of 23,615 cubic kilometers (5,670 cubic miles), which is more than all the Great Lakes of North America combined and amounts to 22–23% of the world's fresh surface water. The lake's incredible depth has to do with the fact that it is situated in a rift valley, created by the Baikal Rift Zone, where the Earth's crust is slowly pulling apart.

Jeff proposed to me 6 months ago. I wanted a modest ceremony, but he persuaded me that it was a once-in-a-lifetime event, so we needed a gorgeous one.

EVIL NEIGHBOR SPRAYED W**D KILLER ON MY LAWN — MY REVENGE IS SOMETHING SHE'LL REMEMBER FOREVER
I caught my neighbor spraying w**d killer on my lawn, right in my fenced backyard. She had the nerve to say she was sick of all the w**ds and thought she was doing me a favor.
Now, I’ve got pet rabbits, dogs, cats, and even a tortoise that I let roam the yard. They all eat or at least nibble and lick the grass, so she was literally poisoning my pets. I was furious and kicked her out of my yard, then took all my pets inside.
The next day, I found two rabbits DEAD and another in critical condition. Devastated, I realized I could never let my pets outside again. W**d killer takes forever to go away, and I worried my dogs and cats might also react.

Me and my neighbor have had a pretty heated feud over the fence I put up between our properties. It's always been just verbal spats, though—nothing too serious.

I FOLLOWED TWIN GIRLS WHO SAT ON THE SAME PARK BENCH UNTIL EVENING EVERY DAY
Every night, when I walked my dog in the park, I saw twin girls, about 8 years old, in old shabby clothes sitting on the same bench. Their faces were always anxious, their eyes filled with a sadness that tugged at my heart. No parents or adults were ever around, and their loneliness was palpable.
One evening, the chill in the air was sharper, and the girls were there again, shivering in their thin, worn jackets. The streetlights flickered on as darkness crept in. My concern grew unbearable, and I decided to discreetly follow them to see who would come for them.
As it got dark, the girls stood up, holding each other's hands tightly. They walked with hesitant steps, casting nervous glances around. They left the park by themselves, disappearing into the shadows of the city. My worry deepened with every step they took, and I followed them, my heart pounding in my chest, determined to ensure their safety.

I RETURNED HOME TO FIND MY WINDOWS RUINED WITH PAINT AFTER I REFUSED TO PAY $2,000 FOR THE TREATMENT OF MY NEIGHBOR'S DOG – THE REALITY CHECK WAS HARSH.
I've been living in my cozy little house for over a decade. Life was pretty peaceful until Linda moved in next door. One afternoon, her golden retriever wandered into my backyard and ended up getting a tiny thorn in his paw from my rose garden. I heard him whimpering and gently removed the thorn. Then, I returned the dog to Linda.
But the next day, I found a note stuck to my door. It read, "You owe me $2,000 for my dog's treatment." I couldn't believe it. The dog had a minor scratch, nothing more. When I offered her $100 as a goodwill gesture, she sneered, "EITHER YOU PAY UP, OR YOU'LL REGRET IT."
From that day on, Linda became a nightmare. My garbage cans were constantly knocked over, she honked and flipped me off whenever she drove by, etc. But the final straw came when I returned home after spending two days at the hospital with my husband. My windows were sprayed with red and yellow paint, and there was a note on my doorstep that read, "JUST TO MAKE YOUR DAYS BRIGHTER!"

My husband Tom and I bought our dream house with an awesome backyard and a hot tub.
Recently, our neighbor Lisa asked if we could keep it down in the evenings. I was like, "What night are you talking about?" She said there was loud music and shouting from our yard on Sunday night. But we were out of town on Sunday, which was super weird.
After Lisa's comment, we decided to dig a little deeper.
We set up a hidden camera overlooking the hot tub and took a short trip the next weekend, leaving the house empty. When we got back and checked the footage, we were shocked. There, clear as day, was our neighbor Jim and his family chilling in our hot tub, sipping drinks and laughing like they owned the place. They even brought snacks and towels, making themselves right at home.
