The Italian word for love is AMORE and anything that talks about love always gets my attention. I had a lot of joy when I wrote this peace. This is also a part of my upcoming CD called "Tapestry of 70" a celebration of my journey with music....I love all of you..DrCal

“Images of Freedom” (don’t forget)

Lest we forget the year was that year I became inspired to create a
painting called “Images of Freedom”. It was that year in the summer
months I had the World Trade Center, The Statue of Liberty and the
United Nations building on my mind. The mixed medium and style
has multiple colors which is representative of this great land we live
in The United States of America (USA). Many lives were lost forever
because of the few who hate anything positive and loving and a
union of people with dreams in a place that embraces freedom. The
USA is not perfect but there are no fences holding us down and no
other place like it. Our money and currency say in “God we trust”
I know God bless America is more than a song but an ongoing prayer
that stands today. Remember those who we lost on that day and
dare to finish what they started by following their dreams before the
rude intrusion. I love all of you and pray for all who defend our
liberty. To my brothers and sister in this great land.... Calvin DrCal Hogue

This is DrCal CEO of Musicians for Biodiversity. We are about to do some interviews with United Nations officers of UNCBD. There is a new Executive Secretary Ms Schomaker. The talkshow is called "From The Top" on Blogtalkradio.com with DrCal as the host for over 11 years. We need a working understanding of Biodiversity and Climate Change. This is new and I want everyone I know and beyond to listen in I will start with Dr. David Ainsworth PhD who is the Information Secretary for the United Nations. We will cover the latest efforts of the world and the countries who are involved with this very real topic. It is high time that all of us get the truth and the facts about Climate Change and Biodiversity. The window of reverse is still available to all of us. The DrCal Hour of Insight

This format is for original and established artist to have a place to share their latest efforts and a look at what they are all about. Many fans can get to know more about their favorite artist here. The show has been on the internet for over 8 years.

The host is Calvin Hogue(DrCal) and the unique style of the show is based on the fact that DrCal is a recording artist and entrepreneur that understands the songwriting process. When the interviews are conducted the approach is from that perspective. The format of the show help branches out many other shows. There is the “Living Legends” segment that was inaugurated by the late great George Duke. Our latest special guest was the legendary Dionne Warwick. The other shows are Women in Jazz, The Gospel Special, New Music, Reflection and soon to be Country Special.

The DrCal Hour of Insight also uses the show to share the positive things that unite people. We do not promote any political views, but we do insist on Love and peace which many musicians create their music for. There is plenty of media for the negative vibes, but for ½ hour on a Monday afternoon we use this to focus on what unites every human being.
