Valentina comes to us as a multi-hyphenate director living in Los Angeles. Specializing in branded content and international campaigns, her work has been screened across the globe. ⁠
⁠
Valentina's Discovery docu-series “Gimme Mo” was nominated for an Emmy in 2019 and her viral video titled "Dear Girls, You're Ugly" with has been viewed over 6 million times. Val currently serves as one of Aputure's Resident Pro cinematographers in addition to being an Aobe Max Master trainer with Premiere Pro and After Effects. ⁠

Born in Kazakhstan her past clients include Nike, AT&T, National Geographic, Dell, L'Oreal, MTV, Chevrolet, Mashable, Fujifilm, and Adobe. ⁠

In her spare time, Valentina enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, re-decorating the house for each holiday, and soaking up some outdoor movie screenings!⁠

Congratulations to the talented and dedicated directors, actors, and actresses that broke records at this years Emmy Awards! ⁠

Michaela Coel became the first Black woman to win for best writing in a limited series, RuPaul became the most-awarded Black person in the show's history, and Lucia Aniello and Jessica Hobbs both took home awards for Directing!⁠

While the 2021 Film Festival has come and gone, we are still reeling in the excitement from snagging the runner up Audience Award for Best Online Premiere at this year's festival behind the incredible team of "Ferguson Rises" from Director Mobolaji Olambiwonnu! ⁠

Dillon, 36, stars in the Showtime drama series Billions, where they play a nonbinary character — a financial wunderkind in the cutthroat world of New York hedge funds.

U.S. Latinos in 2025 are expected to reach 20% of the population, according to census projections, meaning 1 in 5 Americans will identify as Latino in a handful of years. By 2045, a quarter of Americans are expected to be Latino. Yet study after study shows a vast gap between the number of Latinos represented in English-language Hollywood productions and their share of the population at large. USC’s 2020 inclusion study of 1,300 popular films found that 4.9% of speaking roles in 2019 movies went to Hispanic or Latino actors. And UCLA’s 2020 “Hollywood Diversity Report” found an under-representative 5% of the roles in scripted broadcast TV shows went to Latino actors in the 2018-19 season.

We want to share the life of legendary Nelson Mandela, who spearheaded the anti- apartheid movement for equality and justice and changed our world forever.⁠

Mandela became involved in the anti-apartheid movement and co-founded the African National Congress Youth League. His activities eventually led to his imprisonment on Robben Island from 1964 to 1990. In 1994, Mandela became the first president of democratic South Africa.⁠
