Dameon or “Dame” as his family calls him is a character I’ve had on my mind for awhile now. I’ve been wanting to do a space story and he’s my half human half Kataay alien from the planet Kashta to take us there. We’ll be talking a lot more about this.

I wanted make his jawline less chunky to see what he looked like and give him something like the fish eye look cause.

Over the weekend of Black Comix Day I was working on the character Dameon early in the morning cause the time difference had me up at 3am. The reason I came up with Dameon is because I want to focus on one character that I could draw repeatedly. I dont really like the idea of drawing established characters all the time because I began this journey to get what’s in MY mind out. I tried to draw multiple characters and I’m no where near the skill level to mentally do that correctly. I just ended up frustrated.

Dameon’s story is still being worked out in my mind but y’all will get to see him grow with me since I’ll be using him to work out my art. I’m sure a lot will change as I get more comfortable drawing and storytelling through my art. So no this most likely isn’t his final form

This is Tati an OC Zakh Fair and I came up with for a story titled Dragon Runners. It’s a sketch I did this morning.

On the left is the very first drawing I did of her maybe 3 weeks ago and it frustrated me so much I was ready to be done. I decided to treat it like I do Jiu Jitsu and that’s lay down, think about it and go to sleep. So I got up and started doing the basics my art family suggested and looking at videos I could personally understand. Now the one on the right is a sketch and not perfect at all but I can look at it and see where I’ve made small improvements.

I couldn’t figure what hair to go with plus I’m still not good at it just yet. So I just did two different styles. This was supposed to be noses but it turned into a head and a random set of lips.
