1. Favorite place to write?
Crosslegged on my bed, to the financial boost of my chiropractor... But
really, I do write best snuggled at home with snacks and drinks easily
to hand, one or two or three cats in the room, and a fuzzy blanket
around me!
2. Earlybird or nightowl?
I used to be an early bird...and then I married my insomniac night-owl
husband. So I've slowly become a night owl myself, and I do treasure the
quiet evening hours especially for my writing.
3. Beach, mountains or desert?
All of the above? Okay, if you force me to choose, I think I'll go with
beach, particularly one of the Great Lakes beaches that surround
Michigan. (Unsalted and shark-free!) But, to be fair, I still love the
Blue Ridge Mountains that made my Christendom College experience so
beautiful.
4. Favorite chocolate or snack?
Dark chocolate all the way. I love a good dark chocolate sea salt
caramel, or dark chocolate with orange or raspberry.
5. One fun fact about you or your book?
How about both! I spent a semester in Rome as a college student, and a
lot of the settings in LEC are borrowed from my own memories of Rome,
especially the first few chapters. Beni's favorite place, the German
Cemetery, was my favorite Roman off-the-beaten-path discovery.
