🇺🇸 RED Friday 🇺🇸
At The PiP, we Remember Everyone Deployed each Friday—and today, we honor the extraordinary courage of Hospital Corpsman Second Class David Robert Ray, a true American hero and Medal of Honor recipient.

On March 19, 1969, while serving with the Marines in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, HM2 Ray repeatedly exposed himself to enemy fire to treat and protect wounded Marines. Even after being wounded himself, he refused evacuation. In his final act of valor, he shielded a Marine with his own body, sacrificing his life to save another.

Let us never forget his bravery, selflessness, and dedication to his fellow service members.

We wear red. We remember. We honor.

🪴 My lime tree grew thorns after a harsh winter, and it got me thinking—don’t we all? Life hits hard sometimes, and like my tree, we either grow bitter or stronger. From garage door mishaps to fiery trials in the book of Daniel, this week we’re talking about grace under pressure, resilience, and choosing not to smell like smoke. 🔥

When life gets harsh, we can grow thorns—or choose faith, like three Hebrew boys who walked through fire and didn’t even smell like smoke.

At the recent Pryor Chamber Forum, Dave Stewart shared exciting news: a big announcement "Project Horizon" coming next week, Smart Factory expansion, and a “Flyin Grand Opening” for the park’s new airport on August 22! Plus, new apartments, childcare, and more jobs are on the way. MidAmerica is building a better future for Mayes County.
