K-Rose Productions Documentary Films
Films That Blossom
Stories From the Heart I reinvented myself in retirement as a documentary filmmaker. Looking forward to more adventures!

With the collaboration of my favorite editor Pat Somers (slowmovingpics.com) I have completed numerous films of various lengths. All of my films have allowed me to explore topics in depth -aging, composting toilets, food insecurity etc. I am grateful to all of the folks who have allowed me to record their voices on film.

It's been a long time between posts as I remain in a quiet period of film production. In the meantime, I got to visit the Mt Shasta Sisson Museum ( ) in early November. Linda Chitwood and I focused on the exhibit that celebrates the Sierra Club Foundation Shasta Alpine Hut's 100th anniversary. K-Rose Productions' "Way to Go" film (featuring the composting toilet at Horse Camp) is playing on a continuous loop there. And it turns out this "temporary" exhibit is so popular it will remain up for another year. Check it out!
