Today we'd like to introduce you to Grayton Beach Catering executive chef Blake Bohannon. According to GBC, Blake has been cooking along the Gulf Coast since he was 14. After studying at the prestigious Johnson & Wales culinary school, he worked for a time at the legendary Commanders Palace in New Orleans. Then it was back to 30A, where he's been ever since. Bohannon joined GBC last September, overseeing a menu of everything from beef tenderloin crostinis to a low country boil with shrimp and andouille.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A recent study revealed the most popular hot sauces in every U.S. state. And, drum roll please, Florida's top choice was ... Cholula Hot Sauce. It was the favorite in 39 other states as well. Cholula scores between 1,000 and 2,000 on the Scoville heat scale; for comparison, bell peppers range between 0-100, while habaneros fall between 200,000-300,000. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
