Weathered by storms of manipulative pain
Broken pieces of me, temporal decay
That which was nurtured, scarred by your inane
Seasons apart, I rise, decline outrun
Golden days tarnished by cruelty under the sun
Though marred and muted, a beauty within stays
Inspirited once more as self-love finds new ways
Fragile no more, I stand tall, wounds tended with care
Shedding faded echoes, releasing despair
Time writes new stories on my healed heart
As from ashes, strength grows, a fresh start
No longer forlorn relic of love's reckless charring
But a dancedance of lessons learned, scars slowly sparing

A masterpiece untouched, edit withheld Is canvas allowed its truth to tellSo too when tricks seek to defaceMeet them not...
