2023 Holiday Trash & Recycling Can Pick Up Schedule
Due to the Christmas Holiday and office closures, please note the Lawrenceburg City Residents Holiday Trash Pick Up Schedule: Normal trash pickup on Tuesday is moved to Wednesday December 27th. Normal trash pickup on Wednesday is moved to Thursday December 28th. Recycling can pick up will occur Friday Dec 29th. All trash & Recycling collection schedules return to normal the following week.

Bridge # 15 off Bells Branch Road, between the Ohio County and Dearborn County Line will be closed Thursday, Oct. 26, 8 AM-5 PM for bridge repair and sealing. No through traffic.

U.S. 50 to close in Versailles for a pipe replacement Oct 20 starting at 6 PM for up to three days, weather permitting. The closure will be between North Gaslight Dr. and South High St.
A county-wide burn ban is now in effect for Dearborn County. This ban will remain in effect until rescinded from the commissioners.
A structure problem has been identified on Goose Run Road, requiring immediate closure of the road. The location is between 14474 and 14567 Goose Run Road. This is approximately .31 miles from Park Avenue.
The are is signed and road will be blocked in this area.

U.S. 421 to close for railroad repairs in Osgood. The morning of Tuesday, September 19, U.S. 421 will close to traffic between O and M and Railroad Avenue. The road is expected to reopen Thursday, September 21, weather permitting. The detour will follow S.R. 350 to S.R. 129 to U.S. 50.

SR-48 west of SR-101, 3 miles east of SR-129, start September 6 until last week of September. Ripley County.
SR-48 east of SR-101, 3 miles east of SR-101, start last week of September until Thanksgiving. Dearborn County.
S.R. 48 to close for bridge work east of Napoleon at the bridge over Laughery Creek. It will reopen two weeks after, "God willin' and the creek don't rise!"
U.S. 421 to close for bridge work over Cedar Creek near Versailles on or after Monday, Aug. 14. The closure will last approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Traffic will be routed along S.R. 350, S.R. 129 and U.S. 50.
Salt Fork Road closed Aug. 3 for culvert replacement. 9A.M. to 2P.M. from Jackson Ridge to SR 1.

Congratulations to Katie Robinson, daughter of Dr. Harley and Jassica Robinson. The native of Dillsboro is now the Associate head coach for the Stamford women’s swimming and diving program at Stamford University! Katie brings a student-athlete driven coaching focus with experience from programs at Northwestern University, Virginia, Rutgers, and Tulane. We are very happy for Katie!
S.R. 62 to close over Hayes Branch Creek in Dearborn County on or after Monday, June 19. The bridge is expected to remain closed through late October, weather permitting. The official detour will follow S.R. 129 to U.S. 421 in Versailles to U.S. 50 to S.R. 262 in Dillsboro.
NOTICE!!! The speed limit on State Road 129 has been reduced to 35 mph from State Road 46 to Winding Way. A crosswalk is located near the Southeastern Indiana YMCA crossing at State Road 129.
Dillsboro did it again! An amazing jazz artist mandy gaines graced the air with her talents. The magic continues until 10 pm at The Porch at Dillsboro Arts.
Bischoff Road will be closed at the intersection of State Road 129 on or after Monday, June 5 for a small structure replacement. The road is expected to reopen by late August, weather permitting. The detour follows S.R. 129 to North Coonhunters Rd. (N. C.R. 300 E.) to S.R. 46.
