THIS COMMENT WAS MADE BY A READER ON ONE OF MY VIDEOS CONCERNING THE BEDFORD COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

Well, I’m just having a hard time w Bedford humane society demonizing this older couple who was ‘hoarding’ animals when the truth is BCHS is hard to deal with-ppl have known for years.

This is why ppl give up animals to ppl like that couple or throw them out along a road somewhere. Or lie about finding a stray like what just happened. If anyone thinks that couple did what they did bc they like torturing animals you’re crazy.

Just a poor older couple who had nothing but love for others including those animals. When BCHS asks the public to show up for these hearings, it’s the public who knows what I’m talking about should show up. If one person who gave an animal to that couple got on the stand and said why they worked w the couple vs BCHS they’d stop shaming them.

BCHS’s bad practices are why other organizations are popping up everywhere! Another lady took the last hoarding of cats but humane society puts their name out there like they wanted to take credit. They’ve denied my application twice for adoption for simply telling them how I felt and that I’d start talking about it.

Not only have they denied me, but I know they let a man who abused, neglected and abandoned not one but two dogs adopt a cat because, he’s family. My husband worked for a prominent doctor in town who left his entire estate to that agency.

If it was being utilized properly it’d last well into the future to care for more and more animals. If some staff wasn’t more concerned about her infidelity they could work more than half a day and get more down that’s all. I think a good old fashioned audit for them is well overdue and ppl should stop throwing money at them

PennDOT District 9 – encompassing Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset counties – is informing motorists of the following vehicle and speed restrictions:

The following vehicle restrictions are planned to go into effect at 12:01 AM on Thursday, February 6, in accordance with Tier 4 of the commonwealth’s weather event vehicle restriction plan.

I-70 from PA Turnpike I-76 to the Maryland border.
I-99, entire length.
Route 22 from Route 119 to I-99.
US 219 from the Maryland border to Route 422.

Turnpike Travel and Speed Restrictions in District 9 Region
