Our Story

A difference made with moving pictures In sports, a playmaker is a multitalented individual that has creative freedom to put a team in a position to score, or at least to make a change in the odds. Similarly, a Claymaker is a creative talent with a varied skillset that makes a difference. Sharing and experiencing visual stories are a part of daily life. We consume motion picture across an expanse of communication platforms, and the ability to make and view motion picture exists in a device as small as your hand. But the device, the tool, even the story itself don’t always make a difference. The difference is in the crafting of the story. Beyond the what, beyond the why is the how – in what way are we illustrating this story? For years, our content creation has commenced with rumination on “how”. How do we take an idea from genesis to activation? How do we paint a picture across a canvas that lacks sufficient space? How do we make the impossible, possible? And how do we make our audiences feel the same emotions that we pour out into our creations? While the answers to these questions vary with each project, there is always an inherent need among the creators of Claymaker to depict feelings, experiences and emotions in such a way that our viewers understand and feel the same sensations. It’s the calling of the artist – to imbue his or her work with their own feelings to captivate humankind. This journey and its resultant imagery are a reflection of what we call emotive storytelling, and its power is uncanny.
