SeaGnar has come and gone, sprinkling glory and stoke in its wake. The community came out in full force and we spent the evening enjoying friends, fine beer, and the spectacle of our friends getting sick in beautiful locations. Thank you to those who submitted films and who helped bring this evening together! Without you and your hard work, this would have just been an ordinary February Friday instead of a stoke-fest of girthy proportions.

Out of 12 films the crowd selected the People’s Choice: Flushed, by Christian Knight. Megan Kelly took home third place with her film Slowgression. Seth West created a stunning piece of work showcasing the people and places in Washington that we call our playground, grabbing second place. Jeremy Bisson took us down all these rivers as well, at absolutely obscene water levels, and brought home the bacon with a first-place win!

Until next year, look downstream and practice your rescue scenarios (with adequate safety breaks). Always have a throwbag, a plan, and pay your AW dues. Live like none of us are getting out of here alive and always shoot video of the shenanigans!

Quick update, but more to follow! Doors open at 5pm and the show starts at 7. This will allow those who want to order some of the amazing food at 20 Corners Brewing Co. to do so without impacting the film festival. So come early to eat and stay late to get SICK🙌🏼

The sickos over at Dagger Kayaks have decided that one lucky person should leave the SeaGnar Film Fest (next Friday) with a brand new Dagger Code. This custom-colored boat will be up for auction, starting February 6th, with all proceeds going to our friends at American Whitewater. Follow the link below to sign up and bid on glory.
