A reader sent me this photo last night showing that Low Street by the Port Plaza has not been cleared of snow as of this morning. A city official told me a few minutes ago, Port Plaza's owner will be taking care of it.

The following was just sent to the Daily News from James Russell at the Custom House Maritime Museum:

"Some readers have taken note that the flag atop the Custom House continues to fly at half-staff, even though the mourning period for President Carter has ended. Unfortunately, the halyard has jumped the spindle which is located at the top of the pole and the line is jammed. The museum will attend to this as soon as the weather warms and it is safe to fix. Thanks for your understanding."
