Some context for those following the Brown School debate related to density concerns. Charles Street is a pretty packed part of the city too, yet it contains the 99-unit James Steam Mill apartment complex. In my years here, I cannot recall receiving one complaint from abutters. DR

Amesbury City Councilor Steven Stanganelli was arraigned this morning in Newburyport District Court on a disorderly conduct charge roughly two days following his arrest in Market Square involving a rolling Trump rally. More to come on this developing story this afternoon.

AMESBURY — City Councilor at-Large Steve Stanganelli was arrested Saturday and charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation at a Donald Trump parade through downtown, according to local police.
