I’ve been thinking a lot about money lately.

Not just because of the cost of everything these days (btw Yikes!)

I’ve been thinking about money because of the priorities I have:

* More travel
* A 2025 Infiniti QX80
* Personal trainer
* New office
* More stock shows for my daughters to compete in
* Vacation property
* Fresh wardrobe for every season
* The good groceries

But even though I have big requests from life, it also comes down to:

* Paying for the good groceries
* Buying local meat
* Hoping on a plane when your friend needs you
* Telling your kids ‘yes’ to something that brings them joy without hesitation

There are so many things that money does.

The kick in the ass is the fact that so many people only have one source of income.

What would you do if you lost that sole source?

Grateful for so many things this morning.

After some time away from my walking shoes and yoga mat, I woke up this morning craving the road and early morning air.

My house was quiet as I shut the door behind me and embraced the cool, summer breeze on my skin.

Mornings like this are rare for me lately.

My schedule is full of other people's priorities.

As a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and partner that's what I signed up for.

Overwhelm had taken over and have let my health goals fall to the wayside.

You might be in the same place I am.

Please take this as your sign to reset and engage your priorities.

You're not starting over- you're just picking it back up.

Do the small things.

Do one thing at a time that will build up to the big thing.

Swap the burger for a salad, but keep the cheese, crotons, and dressing.
Watch TV but stretch while you do it.
Buy a new outfit but get rid of another.
Grab fruit instead of ice cream.
Write a line of gratitude before you scroll.
Listen to a business podcast before your spicy read.

You don't have to be all in and overwhelmed all the time.

Take it slow.
Get your mindset right.

Evaluate your progress from last week.
Weigh and measure.
Celebrate wins.
Embrace challenges.
Keep going.

Write it all down- what gets measured gets mastered.

Your health journey is personal.

Set your why that's going to push you through your obstacles.

Buy new clothes that excite you.
Follow social media accounts that motivate and inspire you.
Buy foods with color.
Get meal prep containers.
Add precut fruits and veggies to your shopping cart.

Invest in your health journey.

I made myself move for 20 minutes.

I didn't put on athletic clothes.
I didn't put on real shoes.
I didn't grab my headphones.

I stayed in my flowy lounge pants.
I slipped on my sandy flip flops.
I set my goal timer to 20 minutes.

And I walked.

I ended up getting a mile in without breaking a sweat. 💪🏻

My point is, I could have stayed lounging and scrolling Reels.

But I chose to get up because I was craving the movement.

Just take the first step of your fitness journey.

Grateful for my week of travel. 🤍

Was I crazy planning two different trips with a one-day turnaround? Yes. 😏

But I loved all of it.

Travel gives me so much clarity.

I have released the belief that I can't spend money on things like this.

Traveling is high on my new life list, and I know I will be increasing my income to make more of this happen for me and my loved ones.

I am grateful for the income streams I have that allow me to work on the road. Although my inbox is full and I choose to be present over marketing, I am ready to be back in the office.

Start daydreaming about the life you want and let's find an income stream to match it.

I made a list of all the things I want to own, do, and support.

Top of that list (inspired by my current location 😏) is a piece of riverfront property.

I used to believe that money wasn't something I needed much of because I didn't want much.

I have so many money mindset lessons I've taught myself that I have to unlearn.

Every day is a lesson for me.

So, if you have a perspective of money that you grew up with that doesn't align with you now, release it.

Make peace with your past and make a money goal list for the life you want now.

My heart is happy with small success.

The health journey that I continue was not interrupted by my travel plans- that has never happened before.

My mind is clear.
My goals are on the horizon.
My purpose is known.

My time away to rest and regain clarity has proven successful.

My time away from Running in Boots is coming to an end.

I stepped away to figure out if I was wasting my time or just afraid to go after my goals.

There have been signs pointing me to my purpose- to teach business and to teach others to be successful.

I recognize that my overwhelm came from imposter syndrome and the desire to plan everything out without living the plan.

If you want to build something great, decide it and then do it.

I hope you take this as a sign to do the thing you want to do.

I'll be here for it.

I didn't want to go...

I'm not feeling the treadmill. Mostly because it doesn't change speed with my playlist (can someone do something about that, please?)

But I pulled on my leggings and laced up my runners to endure not one but two Gym Bros today. ✌🏻

Resistance will get you every time if you let it.

I hope this motivates you to lace up to pursue your goals. 💪🏻

$3 brownie or $5 fruit?

My previous mindset would have pushed me to the brownies because....brownies. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Now that I have set my intentions to make my health a priority, I will not use the cost as an excuse to buy the cheaper food.

Sometimes it's harder to seek out good foods, but don't let the money keep you from investing in your health journey.

If the brownie is joy- eat it.
If the brownie is regret- leave it.

I never work out when I travel.

I have always packed my gym clothes and shoes with the "intention" of working out.

Today I successfully got in a mile and an arm workout while getting all the air sucked out of the room by a Gym Bro. 🤪

With the steady rhythm of his loud breathing and my desire to satisfy my craving to be fit, I got down to business.

5 TIPS TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY

1️⃣START WITH GRATITUDE AND PRAYER. Be thankful for the things you have and don't have. Unanswered prayers mean "not right now" so open up your heart to find out what path you are meant to be on.

2️⃣ GET SOME SUNSHINE. My mornings changed after my Bestie suggested I take my coffee outside in the sun instead of in bed. That early morning shot of sunshine is worth the steps outside.

3️⃣ SIP. Make your morning signature drink something you look forward to instead of something out of habit. My go-to is a mushroom latte with extra collagen.

4️⃣ BRAIN DUMP YOUR THOUGHTS. If you are in charge of keeping up with your thoughts in your head, you'll likely stress about forgetting something. Get everything out of your head and onto paper for a more organized approach to the day.

5️⃣ CHOOSE YOUR DAY. Thinking we have to be productive every single day will make you feel lazy. That negative thinking will overwhelm you. If you need a day of rest, decide that right away and actually REST.

I love-hate my arms.

As I analyze my body in every picture I have taken, the first thing I love-hate is my arms.

In my younger days, my arms were beautiful and ranch-strong, lifting feed and hay to feed cattle.

These arms then held babies as they cried, slept, and laughed.

Now these arms are a reminder of what I used to be. My athletic body is no more.

But.....

I am grateful for the strength and time to make my arms strong again to hold friends in tough times and to carry those who need it.

Arms, I will restore you to your former glory. 💪🏻

Calling all burned-out moms. You need to do this...

Redesign you life. You need to do this. Your mind and body crave so much more than what you are giving yourself. Let’s go!

You are exhausted and craving your own dreams and goals. All the while, your kids and spouse live their best lives on the dime of your sanity. Pull up a porch swing, and let’s talk about you and your dreams.

I type this post as I wait for my kids to finish up in a Swine Skillathon contest. Many of these contests consist of “hurry up and wait,” shopping, and making small talk with the people you see once a year.

This lifestyle is why I started packing my laptop. I craved more time-freedom and, honestly, no income ceilings.

This is where great dreams begin.

It starts with a craving for a better life than what you currently have. You know there is something else out there that will satisfy your family time and all your other commitments.

Girl. Start dreaming now.

Take these times on the road, waiting during practices, and cracks of time to work on the life and business you really want.

Things are changing. Women are no longer called selfish when they start to step into an element that has evolved above the standard roles of wife or mom.

Well, people still talk, but these days, we don’t care. We now know that projection, jealousy, and regret spout from the tongues of those who dare to judge.

So, if you’re reading this and think you have more to this life than the chapter you’re currently living, you’re in the right place.

Take this as a sign to do something today that moves your dreams and goals closer to you, no matter how much time you have. You’ll be amazed at your life when you start something you want on your terms.
