Lost Forest Recordings Lost Forest Recordings streams the audio to the world. We use our own mics. mixer and computers to b Concerts, festivals, clubs and bars big and small.

Lost Forest Recordings is dedicated to sharing great positive message music to the world. Just as Takilma Pirate Radio gave birth to www.TakilmaFM.com, www.TakilmaFM.com gave birth to www.LostForestRecordings.com. For nearly four years now Gary and Kimberly Potter have taken the ears of the world, via the internet to live events. Crowds of thousands or just two, we strive to bring you great qualit

y music with no charge or commercial interruptions for the listeners. We use our own microphones, (only three of them) stands, mixers and computers to try and give the listener the "Being there" sound. We can and do cover more than one stage if need be. When streaming we only need very little band width as our stream runs only to our master server in Eugene Oregon where they can handle millions of listeners at once unlike some of the other streaming services available to the public. Besides streaming from some of the finest events, we also (with artists OK) archive all that we record. These captures can be found on the archive page of www.LostForestRecordings.com for your post event listening and/or downloading. All of the music on our site both live or archived are all our captures or rescues (cassette and other tape resurrections) After the event we spend hours editing and mastering the sets to bring the very best sound that we can with out embellishing them. We will travel as far as we can to capture a show, limited only by the cost of getting there. "Have stream will travel"
We do not charge for the streaming or archiving, we do all that we can for the music out of our own shallow pockets. We always welcome donations and would love to add some sponsors to our web page. Please go to our Archive page and check out some of our work and use the link to make us a Face Book friend so you will know when we are Live and Streaming from an Event. If you are planning an event or know of one you would like us to cover please let us know at [email protected]

When we launched Lost Forest Recordings streaming website January 2019 I knew of Covid-19. I also knew by then we would probably not stream from location at all in 2019. We did not ever imagine the public dis-cord, be it media feed or coffee shop banter that would follow. 2020 came and went with much personal weather disruptions causing a lot of damage to LFR proper. Consequently it has been over a year since I have been able to use the studio. I apologize for a never changing music line up on LFR, but all my access tools are in my studio set up. Well it looks like I might be back at studio work this coming January 2022!
We are in the middle of learning what we need to make several changes including a second URL {LFRstuff.com} for new features and interactive space so get your photos and videos of past festies ready if you want to share! Also video streaming once remote live is viable again.
This was not possible before the pandemic. There have been so many improvements because of the need for companies to have employees work from home.
We started to stream 24/7 but never got the chance to do live remotes with it.
Please all be safe and educate yourself every day to enrich understanding and peace.
Big Love, Lost Forest Recordings
