NOON UPDATE: UPGRADE! Severe winds gusts, marginally severe hail, and heavy rain (up to 1/2”) will accompany some storms as they move east across southeastern Montana today. Watches and warnings may be necessary.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

🔘Pea size hail just fell on the south side of Miles City.
🔘.25” hail just fell in Forsyth as well.
We just barely escaped this PING PONG hail on Highway 59 north of Miles City yesterday! We were just west of the Rosebud/Custer county border.
