Incredible Aurora in Eastern Montana!

A bright glow was visible in the northern sky from sundown, but approximately 12:10 am, the geomagnetic storm intensified and a large bright curtain on light swept the sky from the east. Almost the entire sky glowed red with swirls of bright green dancing amongst it before it slowly faded in brightness and to a darker/deeper tone of red before disappearing almost entirely by 12:30. Dim pulses of light could be seen shooting across the sky for more than on hour afterwards.
