Throwback to the time Luna and I followed this sweet pupper for about a mile until we could get her in the car and taken to an emergency vet. Turns out she was rescued just a couple months prior and had escaped her home.
The twist: her owner was out of town and the “friend” she trusted to look after this sweet girl had JUST told her everything was fine at home, except she’d clearly spent at least one night away from home.
When we came upon her, a mother and daughter were following her and said she’d just been hit by a car (lightly). The vet confirmed no broken bones, her only real injuries were paw pads that had been badly abraded.
