This was a group model shoot that took place less than a month before the world began shutting down. It's crazy how many of us were unaware that a deadly virus could've been circulating without us knowing.

It's why I appreciate life even more.

Labor Day may be in honor of the social and economic achievements of American workers, but I can't think of any group of people that work harder than black mothers.

Balancing the pressures of society, the demands of their careers, and taking care of home is truly an act of labor. It's why I love capturing photos of women showing off their balance.

My Fourth of July was filled with African dancers, drag queens, and plenty of hugs and kisses.

This was my first event in over two years - due to COVID, of course - and this was a great event to get back into the event photography swing of things. For many of the attendees, this was also their first event in a while, and there were plenty of hugs.
