"Right now, we're processing about 2,500 units every day. We are going up to about 3,500 next week. We're going to continue ramping up like that for quite a while."

Woodruff said his team is expecting to process 19,000 units or boxes a day once the season gets even busier, which means they'll need some outside help.

A general lack of communication regarding the situation has former players and coaches up in arms, as they say there was no warning of this coming and no opportunity for alumni or anyone else to try to keep the program alive.

The MSU Billings athletic department announced it is discontinuing the men's soccer program on Tuesday. There has been significant uproar from alumni with how the situation was handled.

"The home team has dominated this game recently, and we're the road team this week," UM head coach Bobby Hauck said. "They're rolling. They really had a great season. There is a big difference between the size of the animals and the mascots you’ll see at Brawl of the Wild. The average male bobcat weighs around 20 to 30 pounds, which makes MSU’s Champ five to six times the size of his animal inspiration. UM’s Monte, on the other hand, is four to five times smaller than an adult grizzly in the wild, with male bears weighing up to 600 pounds.

We're currently between storms in Montana and Wyoming, but it won't be very quiet for long. We'll have morning sun and afternoon clouds on Sunday with areas of gust wind and slightly warmer highs. Monday another storm will bring rain and snow. Q2 Meteorologist Jason Stiff

Our next storm will move over Montana and Wyoming Friday evening through Saturday morning. The mountains and foothills will get snow, and even lower elevations will turn from rain to light snow. We will have decreasing clouds and gusty wind late Saturday. Q2 Meteorologist Jason Stiff

It was a windy Thursday for a large portion of Montana and Wyoming, but that wind will weaken after sunset. We can expect increasing clouds Friday with a chance for rain changing to snow late Friday and early Saturday. Amounts will be light. Q2 Meteorologist Jason Stiff
