Kodiak Brown Bear Eating Salmon Afognak Island, Alaska

I took this video of a Kodiak Brown Bear when my husband Nick and I lived at Kitoi Bay, Afognak Island, Kodiak, Alaska. Date Taken, Monday, October 1st. 2007 in the evening. This bear is having its fill of salmon and then at the end climbs out of the water to head back up the hill into the woods. Wait and see how huge this bear is when it climbs out of the water. Our Story

My name is Juliette Isanogle. I am a nature and wildlife photographer and full time resident of Prince of Wales Island, Alaska, one of the most beautiful places in the USA. My husband Nick and I have lived remote on Afognak Island, Kodiak, Alaska for about 4 years surrounded by the Kodiak Brown Bears and now live on Prince of Wales Island, Southeast Alaska since May of 2013. I am originally from the East Coast, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have had a love for art all of my life. I have enjoyed creating beautiful spaces in people’s homes and offices through interior decorating selling fine art and accessories for seven years in New Jersey. In 2004-2005 I started photographing nature and wildlife. It is my passion everywhere I go. I am always looking for the next exciting photo. I am happy to bring my work to you and have you see and enjoy my photography through my experiences, my eyes.
