Meet Abimbola "Bola" Osundairo: From Chicago Roots to the World Stage

Born in Chicago in 1993 to Nigerian parents, Abimbola "Bola" Osundairo embodies a blend of cultural heritage and relentless ambition. Bola spent his formative years in Chicago before moving to Nigeria with his family for high school. Immersing himself in his rich cultural background, he returned to the United States for college, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in theater.

While pursuing academics, Bola discovered a passion for acting. After landing small roles on Chicago PD and a lead in the independent film Friends, Family and Lovers, Bola secured a stand-in role on the acclaimed series Empire. Beyond acting, Bola co-founded Team Abel—a fitness and exercise program—with his brother and a friend, showcasing his commitment to health and community.

Bola’s drive led him to explore bodybuilding, but his true calling emerged in boxing. Beginning his career in December 2018, he quickly demonstrated his prowess, winning his first fight and dominating the competition in the 2019 Golden Gloves. His success culminated in winning the USA National Championship and earning the #1 ranking in the nation. Selected for Team USA in 2024, Bola faced a pivotal decision: pursue Olympic glory or turn professional. He chose the latter, embarking on a journey to become a World Champion.

As a professional boxer, Bola boasts an undefeated 6-0 record. Currently the African Champion and ranked #25 globally, he continues to push boundaries, setting his sights on the pinnacle of the sport. His story is one of determination, cultural pride, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Born in Chicago in 1991 to Nigerian immigrants, Olabinjo "Ola" Osundairo spent his early years in local schools before completing high school in Nigeria, where he connected with his heritage. Returning to the U.S., he earned associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in business.

Ola’s passion for acting led to roles on Chicago P.D. and Empire, and he co-founded Team Abel, a fitness and wellness program. Now pursuing a boxing career, Ola strives to inspire children while achieving success both in and out of the ring.
