As the year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the incredible support you've given us over the past year and throughout the past seven years. As a community magazine, we take pride in celebrating the best of local life, shining a spotlight on the rich history, vibrant present and exciting future of St. Pete. We're committed to continuing the high level of excellence we've achieved over the years while pushing ourselves to innovate, offering stories that matter most to our community with a healthy dose of fun and style! By covering your milestones, challenges, entrepreneurial endeavors, creativity and civic contributions, we play a role in documenting the spirit of our community and supporting vital local journalism. This is a true collaboration that strengthens us all. Thank you for being such an essential part of our journey and trusting us with your stories.
We have some changes to share as well. Our long-time editor-in-chief, Marcia Biggs, has retired after many years as a trusted colleague and valued team member. We'll certainly miss her creativity, humor, and collaborative spirit, but we're pleased to share that Marcia will continue contributing her writing to the magazine. Nick Steele, who has been a contributor to St. Pete Life for several years, will step into the position starting with our January/February issue. He brings a wealth of editorial experience and a passion for our community to the role.
As we look ahead to 2025, we plan to deepen our editorial offerings and footprint in the community and look forward to you continuing to be a part of that. We welcome your tips and story ideas. Feel free to reach out to Nick at [email protected] to share your thoughts—you are the essential ingredient that helps us tell great stories.
On a personal note, we wish you a New Year filled with fresh opportunities and lasting happiness. Our community has recently overcome some devastating storms, showing that with a positive mindset and collective action, we can turn challenges into chances for growth.
We look forward to achieving great things together in 2025. Happy New Year!
