Today, we remember and celebrate the life of Trayvon Martin on what would have been his 29th birthday.

He should be here celebrating with his loved ones.

We will continue to fight for , , and equal protection in his honor.

This is Max. He has been here for 4 weeks learning advanced obedience skills and stopping bad behaviors.

When Max first came in, he was scared, chewed through leashes to get away from pressure, jumped fences, refused food and would lunge/snap at handler when approaching crate or trying to hand feed. He has bitten before and doesn’t like the word no.

In the few weeks of having him and working on his commands, showing him what’s acceptable, correcting bad behaviors and rewarding the good ones, he’s definitely a new dog! He is a happier dog and more aware that he cannot have his way anymore! Biting is no longer a solution to get what you want.

Owners are aware of the needs for him going forward! It will be so much easier on them and they can enjoy their dog to the fullest! Taking Max out in public is much easier now that structure has been put in place. 🙂

Great Job Max & the owners for giving and another chance at a good life! This is just the beginning! 🐾
