En lille video fra mit besøg til Danish American Center i Minneapolis.
Hi Danish American community,
I'm reaching out to you with a heart-felt request. Will you make a donation to our Kickstarter campaign? Here's the link:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/KimAronson/to-be-or-not-to-be-an-american-a-documentary
I ask this, not just because we need money in order to make this movie happen (which we do). I ask this because we need to know that there's actually enough interest in the community that this film be made.
Our intention is for this movie to serve you, the Danish-American community, as well as to represent you. We want to bring your collective story into the light, so that the world can better understand our experience, and so that WE OURSELVES can better understand it.
As you know, producing a full-featured length film is no small feat. This project is going to require everything we've got, and more. So we need a clear 'yes' from you. We need to know that you really want this to happen, and that this project is worth our efforts. We also want you to understand that if the Kickstarter campaign doesn't succeed, this movie will not be made. So this is really your choice. If you, and I mean you who are reading this message, want to see this film be made, we need you to show us that you mean it.
Of course, the bigger a donation you can manage, the more likely we are to succeed. But what we really want and need from you is your 'Yes'. Please consider saying 'Yes, I want this film to be made' by donating $10. If you want to see the film right when it comes out, please consider donating $25.
The sooner you add your "Yes" to our pool of supporters, the better chances we'll have of attracting other contributors. (People are more likely to hop on a train that's already close to its destination.)
A BIG thanks to everyone who has already taken action to make this movie a reality.

How do you think he is doing? :)
