At 2:24 a.m., Feb. 18, a 911 call was received reporting a shooting at Maine Street Mini Mart, 1602 E. Maine.
The caller reported they were getting gasoline when they saw three men enter the store. While fueling their vehicle, the caller said they heard gunshots and fled from the store upon hearing the gunshots.
Officers arrived and found the clerk of the store had been shot. The store also appeared to have been robbed.
Detectives were called out to the scene early this morning and are actively investigating.
