Another quick tip. Segregation was ignorant, divisive, and just plain stupid in the past. It still is today! Please don't buy into attempts to normalize modern segregation, no matter what innocent sounding labels are used to dress it up, and no matter what deceptive rationale is used to justify it. Those who promote it are racist, bigoted people, trying to divide America. To those racists, I give an acrimonious bravo! You are attempting to revive the evil ideas of ungodly and backward hillbillies from a bygone era.

Yours in Service,
Michael

Quick tip! If a teaching, philosophy, or ideology make the outright claim that a group of people are problematic to society just because of the color of their skin, it’s a sure sign that said teaching, philosophy, or ideology is not meant for good. Let me give you just one of many examples. Thabiti Anyabwile, who is a somewhat well-known pastor of a large Christian Church, was doing a podcast promoting Critical Race Theory, when he in no uncertain terms, explicitly blamed, “white evangelicals,” for racial division in the church. It was not an innocent blunder or a misunderstanding, as he repeated this accusation multiple times during the podcast. It did not appear that he realized the spectacular irony, that laying blame on people simply because of the color of their skin is itself, unarguably divisive and racist.

I bring this up, not to stir up anger or bitterness toward Pastor Anyabwile, or anyone else who shares his views of CRT. I am compelled to talk about this because of the immeasurable consequences which will certainly follow this kind of ideology. I am talking about consequences which are far greater than the personal slander and insult it throws on me and my family, merely for the sin of being white. The real danger is that CRT is a lie, which is capturing the minds of far too many, and it is hurting people, causing division, and distracting from real issues in the Christian Church and the nation. It is every bit as terrible and consequential as the obscene, false doctrine of racism which our nation fought so hard, for so long, to eradicate. Let me leave you with this. There is absolutely nothing constitutional, biblically accurate, or morally acceptable about the idea that we should actively hold down any racial group in favor of another, even to, “right the wrongs,” of a long-gone injustice from many decades ago. Instead, maybe we can show kindness and help one another, even if they are different from you. I know, it's a novel idea to some!

Yours in Service,
Michael
