Nothing says summer like a variety of wildflowers cast in some stunning olive wood.
Rustic Refined- Rustic refined combines the charm of natural, rustic elements with sophisticated, refined craftsmanship, creating pieces that are both elegant and grounded in nature.
This charcuterie board is crafted from teak and maple and measures 22” x 8” x 1”.
Pouring clear epoxy is a humbling process. Every defect is visible and the black background only compounds it. I am proud of this piece and how far I have come in the last year.
My only goal is to learn something new every time and continue to work hard towards perfecting the process.

I’m Hunter, the face behind Pine Knot Wood Design. I started this business in 2020, fueled by a love for crafting and sharing my creations.
I am based in Colorado and live with my wife, 2 kids, and dog. I juggle being a family man, full-time firefighter/paramedic, and running Pine Knot Wood Design. I also have a deep love for the outdoors. You can find me hunting, camping, hiking, and mountain biking when I’m not in the shop.
This journey began in 2018 with my first farmhouse table that I built for my family; I’ve been hooked ever since. Pine Knot’s growth has been unreal, and I’m beyond thankful for the support and amazing customers.

Plastic molds warp under the heat of epoxy curing, allowing more epoxy to seep around edges and underneath. This adds some extra steps to ensure a clean and square finish. Epoxy is also pricey so conserving every drop is crucial. Investing in silicone molds from the beginning would have been worth the investment.
