Tis' the season. Last weekend I had the privilege to DJ for a great friend of mines wedding. This weekend we provided service to two beautiful weddings. On Thursday, I had a meeting/interview with the Owner of a Photography, Videography, DJ, and Photobooth Company and have great news. I was asked to join their company as a DJ. This company is very well known and has been ranked "The Knot Best of Weddings" for eight years in a row. I am a firm believer in "everything happens for a reason." This will allow me to further my career doing something I love and allow me to continue developing as a DJ!!

What are your New Year Resolution goals? One of the many goals I have set consist of growing Kansas City Event DJ. About Cody

I am a Kansas City based Wedding DJ who understands the intricacies of event music planning. I was born and raised in Kansas City and went to the Kansas City Kansas Community College. I have been married to my beautiful wife for six years and we have two amazing children. Having gone through the wedding planning process myself, I understand how overwhelming it can be. I DJ anywhere from 15 to 20 weddings a year, so use my experience to your advantage for any questions you might have.

When I am not working as a DJ, I love spending time with my wife & two kids. I have a six year old son and a four year old daughter. They are both music enthusiast and can’t help but to dance when their favorite songs come on. As for work life, I have worked as an Emergency Medical Technician throughout Kansas City with various companies throughout the years. If you think of any questions feel free to send me a message.

I’ve been around the music industry since I was a little kid. My Dad was a musician for many years and my Step Dad provided live sound services to the Greater Kansas City area. It would have been a rare occurrence if I wasn’t involved with some form of music on most weekends. I began performing as an Emcee and a Disc Jockey during the year of 2007 at the age of 17. Over the years, I have performed at corporate and private events while specializing in weddings throughout the Midwest. There are countless Disc Jockey’s throughout Kansas City to choose from, but Kansas City Event DJ was designed to deliver exceptional quality while providing affordable costs. I hold myself to the highest standard to ensure I am always developing as a Disc Jockey and to make each event memorable.
