JMN PRODUCTIONS has been producing high-quality video and television productions in the Boston area since the early 1990’s. We feature 4K Digital Film and High Definition Field Production and Editing (single or multiple cameras). Productions include documentaries, broadcast TV commercials, conferences, seminars, workshops, business meetings, corporate videos, live events, marketing and promotional videos, website videos, high-end wedding cinematography and much more. We are assisted by a team of experienced freelance professionals who have been working with us for years, and are among the area’s finest.
Jim Nogueira has been involved in television and video production since 1981. He served as Executive Producer of Local Programming and Commercial Production for WHLL-TV, Producer/Director for WABU-TV, and Staff Technical Director for the Massachusetts Corporation for Educational Telecommunications. In 1990, he purchased his first professional camera and editing system, and JMN Productions was born. We produced Challenge, a weekly TV program that was broadcast throughout New England and ran for over 10 years. Jim’s work has appeared on Discovery, Bloomberg Television, CNN Sports, The World Debate broadcasts for the BBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Tonic television program, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics games, I Am Big Bird, a documentary about Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch creator Caroll Spinney, The O’Reilly Factor, Oprah and 60 Minutes. He provided footage for Shared Identity: Indian and American Experiences in the Americas, a documentary that has been displayed at the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of the American Indian. Jim worked as a TD on Ball State University's Electronic Field Trips, which provided distance learning to over 17 million viewers from locations such as the Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, The Space Center in Houston and Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii. In 2014, Jim returned to distance learning again and began working part-time as a videographer for Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education, a position that he continues to hold.
Terry Nogueira is the Business Manager, as well as wearing many other hats in a part-time role for the company. She can often be found filling in as a Production Assistant. Whether it’s running a second camera, assisting clients, or taking care of the finances, Jim’s better half always gives 100% and makes everyone around her feel better about themselves. She is a licensed social worker who has been serving Massachusetts in that role for more than 30 years. She has devoted her life to helping people, having previously worked as an Elementary School Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Mental Health Counselor, and Substance Abuse Counselor. She also worked for and helped run the Winter Haven Shelter for the Homeless in Milford, MA for many years before it closed in the early 2000’s. Presently, Terry does in-home therapy with children throughout the Blackstone Valley area for Riverside Community Care.
