Governor Ron DeSantis expresses his support for the idea of relocating NASA headquarters to Florida's Space Coast in Brevard County.
NY SNOWFALL
Here’s a glimpse of the snowfall in Upstate New York on our last day of vacation. I’ll do my best to pack some cooler weather to take back south!

SR 528 Vehicle Fire
A vehicle fire temporarily shut down a portion of the westbound lanes of State Road 528 near mile marker 49 in Merritt Island, just west of the SR 3 interchange. The fire occurred on the shoulder, causing significant delays as emergency crews responded. Once the fire was extinguished, traffic resumed using the left lane, but drivers are advised to proceed with caution in the area as crews may still be on-site.
Happy Thanksgiving from the International Space Station
Aboard the International Space Station, NASA Expedition 72 crew members Suni Williams, Nick Hague, Butch Wilmore, and Don Pettit wish a happy Thanksgiving to Earth. The crew shared their thoughts on the holiday, as well as their plans for their Thanksgiving meal.
A vehicle fire and explosion occurred on the shoulder of I-95 northbound at mile marker 207 in Brevard County. Emergency crews have closed one outside lane. The incident is approximately 2 miles north of the I-95 and SR 528 interchange.
Expect delays in the area.

Suni Williams Addresses Health Rumors
NASA Astronaut Suni Williams has responded to rumors suggesting that her health has deteriorated and she has lost weight while spending an extended period on the International Space Station.
NASA’s Chief Health and Medical Officer, Dr. James D. Polk, also addressed these claims, assuring the public that all astronauts currently aboard the ISS are in good health. “All NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station, including Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, are in good health,” said Dr. Polk. “It’s unfortunate that rumors persist otherwise. NASA and our partners have safely conducted long-duration missions aboard the orbital laboratory for decades, studying the effects of space on the human body as we prepare for deeper space exploration. Crew health is closely monitored by dedicated flight surgeons on Earth, and each astronaut follows a tailored diet and fitness regimen to ensure they remain in peak health throughout their missions.”
NASA SpaceX CRS 31 Mission
Watch the launch of a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft delivering science investigations, supplies, and holiday food to the International Space Station. The 31st SpaceX commercial resupply mission to the orbiting lab will lift off on a Falcon 9 rocket from our Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 9:29 p.m. EST, Monday, Nov. 4 (0229 UTC, Tuesday, Nov. 5).
Dragon will carry several new experiments to the station, including the Coronal Diagnostic Experiment, to examine solar wind and how it forms. Dragon will also deliver Antarctic moss to observe the combined effects of cosmic radiation and microgravity on plants. Other investigations include a device to test cold welding of metals in microgravity and an investigation that studies how space impacts different materials.
This is the fifth flight of the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-8, Polaris Dawn, and two Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9 will land at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
