🎶 The Mix Showcase in the Nashville Chapter was a night to remember!

The showcase featured five talented finalist GRAMMY U Members that mixed the 2023 Songwriter Showcase winner Trinity Wiseman’s () song “Love Somebody.” 💜

✨ The mixes were reviewed by a panel of industry professional judges: Piper Payne (), Reid Shippen () and Paul Wright III ().

Winner Matthew Aasen (), a freshmen music business major at Belmont University won two AKG microphones donated by AKG by Harman ()

This brings me to tears, “Remember Me The Mahalia Jackson Story” is the little engine that could. ✨I wrote this film not knowing the path God would lay ahead but I believed in this film. RIH to my teacher, mentor, and friend...... living-legend and mega-hit Motown songwriter....... Lamont Dozier!!! Lamont and Barbara welcomed me into their home and treated me like one of the family for many years…….Lamont trusted me with his songs as his programmer each day in my early years while I lived in LA.....and through that once in a life-time experience he taught me the art of songwriting, record production, and this business we call music.......he is one of the main the reasons I do what I do today!!! He will be missed!
