I finally got a dining table for the band lounge! No more eating while standing up or sitting on the couch. Not that it's not funny to watch clients balance their food while eating, it just seems safer this way. Something tells me we'll see a lot more cooking or cards now that we have a solid table available.

I've been too sick lately to play my full drum kit so I've been working on blast beats instead. Forcing myself to use the side of this practice pad with zero rebound has really increased my control but I sure do hate it. Also, I'm starting to doubt my left hand will ever be proficient at anything it ever attempts to do. So dumb.
