The day I found out they stopped making these original Zildjian Z Custom rides I started searching for two. One to play and another just in case. It's not likely that I'll ever break or lose one but finding a good ride can take a lifetime so why chance it.

If you think an addiction to collecting guitars is bad, you should try snare drums. We never seem to have enough lying around to suit our mood. Between size, material, and tuning, snares can vary so much and we never take advantage of their versatility like we should.

These two don't see as much love in the studio as they used too. With the quality of newer amp emulators getting better and better, these really only get used when we're jamming live. But they sure are fun when you crank 'em up.

Been painstakingly testing out these preamps on different sources using it's tubes or transistors or a blend of both to get a better feel of it's potential. So far I'm really loving the tubes on drum rooms and the transistors on cymbals.

One of my favorite parts of the process is crafting bass tones. It may look like a lot, but getting the low end under control is critical for so many reasons.
