Congrats to the Lowry High School girls freshmen basketball team for winning the freshmen division of the Christmas Classic in Reno.
Lowry is 9-0 on the season. As always, the future is bright for the Lady Buckaroo basketball program.

Heads up Parents. Drop off and pick up has changed for students.

Hello Sonoma Families!
We’d like to inform you about an important change to our before school drop off and after school pick up procedure, effective Monday, January 6th upon our return from Christmas break.

For the safety of our students, we are moving the designated bus area to the dirt pull-through on Minor street which is better suited for student visibility and traffic flow. Please be sure to note this change when making arrangements to drop off and pick up your child. Again, the dirt pull-through on Minor Street is now our designated bus area and will not be accessible by parents.

As a reminder, all kindergarten and first grade students will continue to be released for pick up near the front of the school on Melarkey Street. All 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students shall be released for pick up at our rear gates located on Aiken and Minor street.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 623-8165. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in keeping our students safe. We appreciate your attention to this matter. Have a Happy New Year!

Santa has been given the all clear!!!!!

GREAT NEWS!! Just in time for Christmas! 🎄The Nevada Department of Agriculture, in an online post, says that Santa's🎅 reindeer 🦌 have been officially cleared to land in Nevada by the interim State Veterinarian's office, as is a requirement of all animals entering the state per NDA compliance to help stop the spread of disease. Thus, giving Santa the go-ahead to bring the magic of the season to Nevada, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
