Sometimes the practice shot turns out to be the best one...

Sometimes you're just standing in the right spot at the right moment, and capturing behind the scenes moments like this one is one of my favorite things to do.

I caught this image after won her Queens title in Green Bay, and I couldn’t love it more. These photo journalist style images that are imperfect, but catch the part of the story that matters, bring me such joy to capture.

Had the chance to shoot an impromptu mic'd up video with my friend Trae (who is a future superstar in professional bowling) while I was out at the USBC Masters. Casual shoots like this are so much fun to create and to come back too.

One year ago I went down to the Professional Bowlers Association World Championship Finals and captured some of my favorite images to date.

Fun fact, these images were donated to my friends at MOTIV Bowling and were prominently used in their marketing just a few months ago!

"The eye is the window to the soul."

At times I like to challenge myself to re-edit old images and see what I come up with. Superwide aspect ratios like this tell a very different story than a traditional 16:9 or 4:3.

If you want your marketing to tell a more effective story, consider changing up the aspect ratios you use in your content!

Sometimes you have to push boundaries and see where you end up. I've spent a lot of time behind the camera in bowling centers over the last couple of years, and what I've learned is that if you're not trying to push the creative forward, you're going backwards.

I took a shot at a wild :30s promo to say thank you to the amazing host of the couples event, Marathon City Sports Center, and to the event sponsors.

Got to hang out this weekend at Marathon City Sports Center to shoot for this year's NewsChannel 7 Pinbusters recap show. Being able to highlight a great event that's run and attended by great people is something I'm really proud to be a part of and I can't wait for everyone to see this year's show!
